The other chance of the season to see the old "home-town team" - but oh dear oh dear - saw them scrape past Droylsden a month or so ago - but today ... absolutely no chance - in the end a 4-0 defeat could have been a lot worse had it not been for some heroics from Stafford 'keeper Jon Brain. Relegation looms for the Boro - reading between the lines (as I've only seen them twice) and looking at the league table - they're now 16 points from safety ... a miracle is required in 2014. As for Ashton - now up to 7th with games in hand - play-offs maybe ??
